And So It Goes - Charles Shields

I thought the book was kind of bland. Other opinion here:

Pink Floyd - Rainbow Theater (February 17 - 20, 1972)

Pink Floyd
Rainbow Theater
Finsbury Park, London, England
February 17,18,19 & 20, 1972.

Four shows from one of the pre-Darkside tours. The last show is a pretty famous boot of a radio broadcast that came out well before the official release of proper album. It's great listening to the first three shows that are very average audience recordings and the last show jumps out at you like the technicolor of the Land of Oz. Of note, "Eclipse" as recorded first appeared at these shows versus the noise endind that the Floyd was doing up to this point.

The Rainbow Theatre is now a church.

This recording is not that great. The instruments are kind of muddy and distant but the vocals and tape effects come through louder in the mix. Does that make sense? The taper sat closer to the PA than in the middle of the floor, I'm guessing.
