This was the first Faulkner that I've ever read and I was blown away. He writes in a way that feels like he is pulling you inside of his head. The writing is complex and wordy, but not so much that I felt like I had to re-read every other page. It's the right level of depth and complexity for me. Really a powerhouse writer. I'm glad I have many more of his books to read. Something to look forward to.
