The best part of this book is the cover photo of Mark Arm and Steve Turner of Mudhoney at a Replacements show in 1983. Otherwise, this is an important book that was put together very well but contained way too much grunge for my taste and way too much Nirvana. But what am I saying? I had too much Nirvana when I saw them at the Empire (RIP) in 1991. I never got past the fact that "Smells Like Teen Spirit" sounded like "More than a Feeling" to me. Screaming Trees still rule though.
